Pitch Pine
|
Pitch Pine has been used in construction and for flooring throughout Britain for hundreds of years and has been enjoying a steady increase in popularity over the last decade or so. Although technically a softwood, pitch pine shares many of its gualities with hardwood, such as its high density and hardwearing nature. Blessed with a lovely rich colour and distinctive dark grain, as a floor it will suit almost any architectural or design project. We supply pitch pine flooring tongue and grooved, in 125mm ,175mm and 225mm widths, between 1.5m and 4m lengths. All widths are 20mm thick. The vast majority of flooring we supply is character grade and will contain small sound knots and occasional heart as shown. |
